DS Craze Review (Driven Sports)

First off, I have been way excited for this pre-workout, and all that it was hyped up to be.  It is supposed to be "Craze"y good at helping with focus during a workout, and from what I have read a lot of people didn't notice much of a good pump at all, but loved the ability to focus.
Craze, DS Craze, Driven Sports, Pre-workout

craze review, driven sports, DS craze
First things first, This stuff is pretty nasty.  I got the grape flavor, and its basically bad artificial grape medicine flavored.  Mixes very easily even with a spoon though.

My dosage is usually 1.5 scoops.  I do have some weird reactions I have never had with any other pre-workout with this stuff though.  If I take it too late in the day, I can fall asleep at night, wake up about an hour later, and feel not tired at all.  I then toss and turn for up to 4 hours some nights, because my brain is jst wide awake.   On one occasion I have also taken 2.5 scoops in a day, 1 in the morning, and 1.5 preworkout with another scoop of Beta-cret just for some beta-alanine and some more caffeine, and I had Horrid Headaches that kept me up for 4 to 5 hours into the night.

But all that tells me, is that this actually is very strong stuff, and not severely under-dosed like most products on the market.

This product at one time was also controversial just like the Jack3d. One report can be seen here
and the actual lawsuit can be seen here
Basically the first version of Craze was maybe spiked with synthetic amphetamines, but then a reformulation happened, and nothing has been heard about the lawsuit since March 2012.  So maybe the original Craze had it in it, maybe it didn't... Basically a lot of people like this because it does feel very similar to Adderall (amphetamines)

I also found this very interesting article thanks to Patrick Arnold. Another great resource here.
And here is a few more pics if you want to read the label. But I would jsut go to www.getds.com

So far I really like this for workout out, but it makes sleeping suck if you take it later in the day. But other than that, Its really good ESPECIALLY if you have a hard time focusing in the gym.

Julian Bakery: Smart Carb #1 Bread review

This bread I had been wanting to try for a while, and after getting it I wasn't disappointed at all. This bread is meant for people who are very carb conscious,  but still need something because they have they bread craving.

muscle sandwich, julian bakery, smart carb, #1, get ripped, low carb, fiber bread, organic

This bread only has 1 net carbohydrate, as it has 13 carbs technically, but 12 of which are dietary fiber.
It also has 12 grams of protein per slice, which is also quite exciting considering you could load up a sandwich with some 30 grams of protein from turkey or tuna, and have a sandwich with over 50 grams of protein in just one sandwich!!!

Now this bread is more expensive, and is also mostly Organic,  1 gram of fat, and 109 Calories per slice.

I just made toast with it, and it was very good!  a little different texture than other breads, I would say it "falls apart" more in your mouth, rather than having that gooey stuff from all the starch regularly in bread.   I liked the first piece enough to plan on having sandwiches with it for a while.

I got this bread from Good Earth, where I work, but you can also get it from their website, but it will cost a bit more cause they will have to ship it out of california.

Jack3d Micro review

And here it is, finally my review of Jack3d micro, or what some people call jacked micro.
This is a pretty new product, and not many people have tried it yet considering the old version is still available.

I LOVE THIS STUFF!!!!
jack3d micro review, jacked micro review, agmatine sulfate, norcoline, caffeine

jack3d micro, ingredient list, jacked micro, usp labs

jack3d, caffeine, norcoline, agmatine sulfate, vitamin c, arginine nitrate
This product has about the average amount of caffeine, but the pump from it was amazing.  The new stimulant they are using are the Norcoline, and the 3,4-dihydroxycinnamic acid.  I have tried the Norcoline, although the ingredient was called Higenamine then, in the Alpha T-2 fat burner.  Basically the Norcoline is a really good fat burner and targets certain receptors for fat loss different than caffeine does.

Caffeine is also vasoconstrictor, but with the added Norcoline which acts as a vasodilator, meaning that it makes your veins BIGGER, you can pump more blood.

This has actually been one of my favorite products for both producing a pump and also for energy.  No jitters, and the best results I have seen are when I have taken 3 scoops, and still no jitters or anxiety from that much caffeine in this product.

TASTE: wonderful taste, and mixes perfectly. I wish they could make it without Sucralose, but nobody really has done that yet.

Obviously the bottle specifically says to never take more than 2 scoops, but what the heck, I tried 2 scoops/workout for a week, so I figured I would up the dose a bit.

VERDICT:  In my opinion I love that you don't get the beta-alanine skin tingles compared to the original Jack3d, but for an effective dose, I have to take 3 scoops which over time would be expensive. Especially since the Micro version although smaller, costs more.

***I WILL BE BUYING THIS AGAIN, just wish that it was cheaper, although it is getting cheaper everyday on Amazon ***

My New Car (cause my wife didn't want to drive it)

Well, 45 MPG is actually the same gas mileage I am getting on my motorcycle.  So this is kind of a no-brainer for winter, especially since I will need something.  But of course there are plenty of problems to work through with this.

Sure the fenders are falling off, and it has a camo racing stripe, no stereo, and has to have the battery disconnected each time I stop driving it, but its now mine and I like it.

1991 honda civic, crappy car, honda, camo stripe, racing, white,

Broken light that I had to fix

And this is how the battery looked. If you have ever had a Honda Civic, you know that the normal battery is about half of this size. This is a truck battery, and does not fit, and it is not strapped down, which I also had to fix.

New side marker lights were only a few dollars on Ebay.

When I was taking it apart I found out it looked like the whole front end where that light had been broken was dipped in mud. and there was dirt everywhere inside the socket and the wiring, and was causing a bad connection.

New light installed, and I also installed the same one on the drivers side also, so that they would match.

You can't really tell but I am lifting the battery by about 2 inches.

So here are the new supplies to mount the battery to the car,  a new battery tray, and the tie down to hold the battery to the tray.

And.... the new battery tray isn't even close to fitting.  Mind you, the car was made for a battery half this size.

So I decided to make the tray smaller.

Had to cut the battery tray a little bit to get it to fit.

And success.  But now the hood doesn't shut.

IPhone 5 vs my Android (Motorola Atrix 2)

Well first off, my phone has always has Five rows of icons, or six if you include the home menu.

Basically I am writing this post to show exactly what new IPhone 5's new technology really is.    I have acquired most of my information from phonearena.com, and give them the credit for the valuable information.
IPhone 5 vs Android, Atrix 2 Motorola

(note: the picture is only of the Atrix 2)

My Motorola Atrix 2           vs              IPhone 5

Screen Size 4.3"-------------------------4"
Operating System  Android-------------------iOS 6-----
Screen Res.  540 x 960 pixels-----------------640 x 1136 pixels
Talk Time 8.5 hours-----------------8 hours
Processor AMD Cortex A9 1000 MHz------------------------AMD Cortex A15 1000 MHz  (tie)
Storage  8+16MB---------------------16MB
Camcorder Built in 1920x1080 (1080p HD)---------------1920x1080 (1080p HD)  (tie)
Browser support HTML, HTML5, XHTML, Flash------- HTML, HTML5------
4g Service----------------------------------4g service    (tie)
Connectivity  Mini-USB, and Mini HDMI-------------Some new cord no one knows about

AND......I have had this phone for over almost a year now.  Just saying.  Maybe Apple should have come up with something new.
As you can see the new IPhone 5 has one thing better than mine, but if you look at the upgrade to my phone, The Atrix HD, it has a 4.5" inch screen with a 720 x 1280 pixel screen resolution. which blows away the New Apple.
So Basically .... I Win.

Well Let me know your thoughts if any of you get one bad apples,

AST DGC Review

DGC, AST DGC, dextrose, fructose, sucrose, post-workout, intra workout, fuelThis is my review for AST DGC.   DGC stands for Dextroratory Glucose Crystals....  But first off, lets simplify that down a little bit, cause its not as complicated as it sounds.
Dextroratory- meaning clockwise, or the light will spin off of the molecule sideways.
Glucose- Dextrose
Crystals- crystal bits like salt or sugar.

AST DGC supplement Facts, dgc,

AST DGC ingredients, Dextrose, dextroratory glucose crystals, sugar, fructose, sucrose

This is what it looks like mixed in just plain water.
dgc, dgc mixed in water, DGC taste, ast dgc
I tasted it, but then of course added some "goodness" to it, and added a creatine sample(BPI's Build-HD) that I had. TASTE IS EXCELLENT!!!
dgc with creatine, dgc postworkout, dgc intraworkout, ast dgc pwo, BPI Build-HD

Turns out that all Glucose in Nature is the "d-isomer" or Dextroratory, Meaning that all Dextrose is D-Glucose.

So basically it means Dextrose Crystals, aka, Dextrose.

AST DGC does happen to have a few other ingredients, such as Fructose, and Sucrose. (which Technically Table table is just a mix of Fructose and Sucrose) and also a small amount of minerals, and some B-vitamins.

I am loving the results I am getting with this, and it would be great for both Men and Women. Basically it is the best, fastest FUEL for your muscles that you can get.

I add this to my Intra-workout shake, and also to my post-workout Protein Shake.  Amazing pump during workouts, and also great recovery.
Another great site I just found. http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/magazine03/dextrose.htm

Clutch pushrod broke? I didn't even know what that was until I fixed it

Well this here is the part that was really broken, when I thought my clutch cable had snapped.  Really this little part had snapped in two, and I have no idea how it happened either.  Online most of the places I found that talk about this say it happened because someones chain got old and the chained snapped while driving, or the other option is that someone was doing a wheelie and came down way too hard, and it put too much pressure on it, and it just snaps.

This is the new part I got from Ebay, Used, for about 30 bucks.

katana, 750, clutch, pushrod, 1994

And surprisingly this is actually how it came. In a used shredded cheese bag, with some cheese still left in it, all in a box.    Kinda.... awkward...

So when I first started this project
tools, katana 750, black

Unscrewing and take off all the plastic ferrings, and the mirrors (I needed to replace the mirrors anyways, so I got new ones that I will put on later)

And everything is off, and its a pretty naked bike
naked, bike, suzuki, katana

And this is where the fun begins, I had to take this casing off of the clutch. It is also where the clutch cable was attached to.
clutch housing, casing, clutch, screws, katana 750

But as I took it off I realized the Clutch Cable was fine, and this random part was broken instead, which I didn't even know what it was.
Broken clutch pushrod, suzuki, katana

If you couldn't see it, The screwdriver is pointing right to one end, and the casing still has the other end. But if you refer to the very first picture in this post, It is all supposed to be one piece. So I had it ordered, and then replaced It, and put everything back together backwards the way it came.
clutch pushrod, suzuki

The hardest part of the whole thing was re-adjusting the clutch cable so it was back to normal. It is SO SO temperamental  and seemed like it had to be in exactly the right spot.  That's what that cable and nuts are at the top of this picture.  It took forever, and it killed my battery, so I had to jump start it with my wife's car.
Clutch cable, adjustment, katana, 750

I also bought brand new chrome mirrors, that looked pretty good on the bike also, but still have to put the plastics back on, and that's why there is no picture for now.

Xpand 2x review Caffeine-free

This is my review of The brand Spanking new Dymatize product: Xpand 2x caffeine-free Mandarin Orange Pre-workout drink.

First off this packaging is way smaller than the original Xpand, But I like the flavor a lot better.  They happened to sweeten it with Stevia, an all natural sweetener that is technically an herb, (but the FDA doesn't let anybody call it a sweetener.) BUT they still put Sucralose in it, which I will be calling the company about soon enough to find out why.  Sucralose is a sweetener that kills all your good bacteria in your gut, and makes it so you don't digest very well at all.

Dymatize, Xpand 2x, Xpand, xpand 2x, Caffeine-free, stim-free, no stimulant preworkout

This being a caffeine free pre-workout, it didn't give quite the "buzz" high amounts of caffeine give during a workout. But this time I'm going caffeine free. It took a few days to see the real results. supplement facts, no caffeine, agmatine sulfate, creatinol-o-phosphate, rhodiola, creatine, stevia
You cant really see the ingredients on mine, so I got this from the Source.  Dymatize's website
beet root, quercetin, caffeine free, agmatine sulfate, xpand, xpand 2x, muscle

The key ingredients in this formula is the Agmatine Sulfate which is one of, if not the best Nitric oxide supplement you can get. I also really like that this formula has the Creatinol-O-Phosphate (COP).  "COP" works by giving energy to tissues and muscle in your body that are de-oxygenated, or are in a very low oxygen environment. I have seen studies on Rhodiola where it has been shown to keep someone from feeling tired if they did not get enough sleep, and I have used it many times, and loved it.

It also doesn't really look that good when you mix it, but it mixed pretty well.  There were just a few little clumps in the bottom, but they would have gone away if I had mixed it with more water.
orange drink, cup and spoon, xpand 2x orange, xpand 2x, xpand, dymatize, water

The only reason why I had to wait a few days for this to really kick in , was because I was just coming off of caffeine.   I still have about 2 weeks left in this bottle, but I have a feeling I am going to like this.

I will give an update when I am finished to give my final results and last thoughts on this product.

Make your own Chinese food made by an American, (just like Panda Express)

OK so this isn't going to exactly be Panda Express, but that's also because I didn't add very much bad stuff at all to this.   But it is so so good, and one of the only meals my wife has loved in the last little bit that is my own recipe.

Ramen, frying, fried, chicken, frozen, teriyaki, recipe

First you start off with some Frozen Chicken Breasts.
recipe, frozen, chicken, microwave, defrost, fry

I then used a mix of mostly Coconut oil, and a little Canola oil.
Coconut oil, coconut, canola, oil, frying, oils, fats, good, bad, MCT's

About a tablespoon of coconut oil is all that is needed, which is loaded with healthy fats, and MCT's.
1 TBSP, tablespoon, coconut oil, oil, fats, frying

And then for my noodles of choice, I used the cheapest there is... Ramen noodles.

maruchan, ramen, noodles, chicken flavored, frying

Defrosted the Chicken in the microwave for 1 minute, and then sliced into medium sized chunks.

thawed, sliced, frozen, chicken, breasts

My special Sauce that I made was this Teriyaki Marinade with a couple tablespoons of water to Dilute it.

Wal-mart, Teriyaki, Honey, water, microwave, spoon, cook, recipe

Warmed it in the microwave to make it so that the honey would dissolve without having to microwave the honey. (microwaving the honey would get rid of all the good stuff that is in honey).

teriyaki, honey, 30 seconds, yummy, sauce

Start cooking the chicken, and then drizzle the "Honey Pineapple Teriyaki glaze" all over the chicken.

glaze, pineapple, teriyaki, frying, cooking, yummy, tasty, pan

Cooking... cooking.... cooking....

cooking, sauce, glaze, spoon, really good, chicken, frying

By this time I also started the Ramen noodles as they don't take long to cook at all.

multi-tasking, ramen, chicken, cooking, recipes, good recipes, yummy,

Added a little bit mote glaze

teriyaki, chicken, glazed, honey

Cooked until the water and glaze started to thin out.

honey-glazed, chicken, frying, recipes,

and added the noodles, with a little canola oil, to aid in making the noodles a little bit more crispy.

Dual-cooking, ramen, chicken, recipes

Flip the noodles a few times, while keeping the chicken on the pan to make the honey caramelize a little bit more.

Asian style, frying, fats, coconut, sweet, recipes

And the last touch is to add a little more honey, and let it caramelize a little more to add some more sweetness. And we are done!!!   Way good, Honey pineapple Teriyaki chicken.

honey, honey, honey, chicken, ramen, fryed, asian, chinese, recipes, recipe, yummy

I love this meal, and first started messing around with it before my mission.   I would probably add a little brown sugar and crushed garlic in the mix, and maybe a drop of Ginger oil to spice it up a bit also, but all is well, and its quite good.

Total cost for whole meal of used products,  less than $2.00,   Panda Express- $7.00
